PREPARATION
- Directions:
- • To cook:
- 1. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook onion and capsicum until soft
- 2. Add the mince, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up any lumps, cook for 5 minutes
- 3. Add taco spice mix and 3/4 cup of water
- 4. Simmer for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens
- 5. Combine tomato and avocado to create a fresh salsa
- • To warm:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan assisted and conventional ovens)
- 2. Remove taco shells from plastic, keep heatproof wedge inside shells to retain shape
- 3. Fan tacos slightly apart on tray and heat for 3 minutes
- • Note: Not suitable for microwave use
- • To serve:
- Build your own taco with beef, cheese, lettuce, avocado salsa and mild taco sauce
