Brown Sugar | 2 tbsp |
Light Soya Sauce | 1 tbsp |
Spring Onion | 1 stalk |
Red Chilli optional | 1 |
Oil for deep frying |
How to cook
Prepare
- Cut pressed toufu into small cubes
Start cooking
- Deep fry toufu cubes till golden brown & remove from wok
- Add red and brown sugar, light soya sauce and water into wok and fry till sugar melts
- Stir in spring onions
Assemble & serve
- Drizzle crispy toufu with the sweet sugar syrup
- Enjoy this special dish that my family gets to eat on birthdays
