Cake Flour | 520 g |
Baking Powder | 1 tsp |
Milk | 60 ml |
Vanilla Extract/Vanilla Bean Pod | 1 tsp |
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder | 5 tsp |
How to cook
Prepare
- Preheat over to 170 degree celsius
- Beat room temperature butter and sugar for about 10-15 min until light and fluffy
- Beat in eggs, one at a time
- Sift the flour,baking powder and beat it into the creamed mixture
- Beat in the milk and vanilla
- In a small bowl, combine cocoa powder and warm water, and pour ¬? of your cake batter into the cocoa mixture
- Now, layer the cake by alternating between the two colours however you like
Start baking
- Bake the cake at 170 degree celsius for 25-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Assmeble & serve
- Let it cool and enjoy with tea
