Halibut fish species is a much sought-after delicacy; snowy-white meat with a delicately smooth silky texture and a mild buttery flavour. Each steak cut is individually vacuum-sealed. Fish steaks are generally only available to be processed from larger sized fishes. Cooking fish with its bone-in ensures it does not dry out, retaining the moisture in the meat for a silky texture.

The best way to defrost frozen fish is to place them in the chiller section of the refrigerator. Do not thaw fish at room temperature.
