PREPARATION
- • Suggested Recipe (Cereal Butter Shrimps):
- 1. Using a pair of kitchen scissors, remove heads and devein prawns (8 large pieces), leaving the prawn shell intact
- 2. Pour oil in a wol (Just enough to cover the shrimps) and heat up
- 3. Add the shrimps and curry leaves (2 sprigs)
- 4. Deep fry till the shrimps change colour
- 5. Drain and set aside the shrimps and curry leaves (Discard the curry stalk for later use)
- 6.Melt butter (30g) in wok and then add mashed salted egg yolks (2 raw salted eggs), cereal prawn mix (40g), thin sliced chilli padi (2 pieces) and previously deep fried curry leaves
- 7. Stir fry until fragrant
- 8. Add the shrimps and stir fry briefly, until they are evenly coated in the cereal plate
