The warm growing season of 2014 left winemakers spoilt for choice when it came to choosing great fruit for this Hawke’s Bay vintage. Quality Merlot parcels from across Hawke’s Bay were selected and just enough oak was used to ensure a lush, silky mouth-feel. As New Zealand’s second largest wine region, sunny Hawke’s Bay has been an abundant source of fine wine since 1851. Capable of producing a wide range of quality varieties, the region is renowned for some of the country’s best wines, both red and white.
